Today, 3/25/25, we had special guest, Butters the Therapy Duck.  For our Read Across America, Butters shared a story with our second grade students about Moriah, a little girl with CHARGE syndrome.  The book is titled, "Hiya, Moriah" is written by Victoria Nelson .

 

5th Grade Parents and Guardians,
 5th grade promotion for the 2024-2025 school year will take place, May 30th at 8:15 on the field. Please read carefully below on special details and guidelines to determine how to make the day a success.
 -Students are to come to school at regular schedule as attendance is still taken at 8 am. Parents please wait at the 10th Street gate behind the cafeteria. Gates will open at 8:10 am to allow families entrance.
 -Please make sure your student dresses appropriately.  Modest attire is required.  Sagging pants, shorts, spaghetti strap blouses, any type of revealing clothing, or obscene T-shirts are NOT allowed for the ceremony.  No high heels will be allowed.
 -Parents please sign your child out if leaving after the ceremony by 10th street gate behind the cafeteria.
 - EVERYONE ATTENDING TO WATCH WILL NEED TO BRING A CHAIR OR BLANKET TO SIT ON.
 -If you are bringing a Grant sibling or student to watch the promotion, you will bring them to the grass area with you and sign them in late at the office after the ceremony. We will not call students out of class for the promotion. If you are going to bring balloons or other items, please make sure you can keep them low or off to the side.
 -There will be a center aisle you can go to take pictures when your student’s name is called.
